The start and finish will be in Winterset, Iowa, the birthplace of actor John Wayne. Location TBA

Rooms are available at both the Cobblestone Inn and The Covered Bridge Inn in Winterset. You will not be able to reserve rooms online. You must call to make your reservation and mention the event name.

Rooms are also available at the Bed and Breakfast by Jass not far from the start. Reservations are taken by phone only at 515-201-7720.

For those of you looking for a unique lodging experience, Pammel Park has two 450 sq ft yurt cabins for rent. Each sleeps up to 8 people. More information on the yurts and registration can be found here. These are located within a 15 minute drive from the start location.

There are also properties available on airbnb.com and other bed and breakfasts in Winterset. There is also a small motel 15 minutes away in De Soto. Hotels are also available 30 minutes away near I-35 and Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines
